Horse and foal from the Gila herd, of Spanish origin and came to North America with the Spanish conquistadors. They were rescued by Karen Sussman and the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros. The herd had 31 horses when gathered in Arizona and have grown to over 80 in the past seven years; Lantry, South Dakota, United States of America
