This feature involves print extending around the sides of the canvas, which is precision-folded and attached to the back?not the sides?of the stretcher frame. All canvas giclee prints arrive ready to hang as a stand-alone work of art!

Gallery Wrap Border Styles

We offer three canvas style options - Continous Mirror, White or Black Border

Continuous Mirror Image Don't know what kind of frame will match your decor? Try a Continuous Mirrored Image Gallery Wrap, where the image is the frame! The outer 1 1/2" of your image will be "cloned" and mirrored to create the area that covers the outer edge of the gallery wrap. The mirroring provides a smooth transition. The effect is to replicate the all-around painting style that's in vogue right now.

Special Note for Continuous Image - "Gallery Wrap": Please consider that some images may look their best with a White or Black border presentation rather than Continuous, due to mirroring of markings near the edge of an artwork. For example, an artist's signature in the outer 1 1/2" "clone zone" will appear - reversed - on the outside edge using the Continuous Image border. In this situation, we suggest a White border presentation to give an artwork an authentic original appearance, or a Black border presentation to add a classy look. This diagram will help you visualize what will be mirrored and where:

White Border - "Museum Wrap" Museum Wrap is the perfect way to create a reproduction of an original painting ? most people can only tell our museum wrap prints from "the real thing" on very close inspection. The outer edge of the canvas is printed white before stretching. This format is best for images with edges that do not mirror well, such as a face or hand.

Black Border A classic black edge is added to your image. The outer edge of the canvas is printed in black before stretching. This format is best for images with edges that do not mirror well, such as a face or hand.
