MARY LUCAS FAUSTINE
Best known for her fabulous animal art, Mary also paints landscapes
and garden scenes. Her work is inspired by glimpses of everyday
life that create powerful impressions of beauty, balance and character.
She has lived and raised her family on Maui for 29 years.
"Life can get pretty routine. To combat this, I am drawn
to paint only what I love and find uplifting. What gives me great
joy and a feeling of accomplishment is knowing that my artistic
interpretation of life will bring good vibrations to the viewer.
When I paint, I must consciously remove my analytical mind
from the process and let my emotions and heart take charge. In this
way, I feel that the art that comes through is true to my original
intention and each work is a masterpiece."
